General aviation community

Aviation and more specifically general aviation is a fascinating industry. For some, it’s a hobby for others it’s a way of life but anyway, you look at it GA is a special community. When pilots think of GA the small and often antique aircraft come to mind. Oftentimes times we think of the grass strips and fabric-covered airplanes, biplanes and the light sport aircraft, these aircraft can oftentimes be a work of art. General Aviation has exploded since we have favorable laws for GA pilots in America. Almost every pilot starts out in GA before moving forward in a career in flying. some of the often overlooked areas are the people who make it possible. The mechanics, flight schools, instructors and airports all making it possible to enjoy the freedom to fly. Private pilots can load up and fly to almost any of the around six thousand public airports in America. There are around another twelve thousand private airports that may or maynot require permission to land.
